The National Palace Museum

Museum which stands in an area of 80 hectares is located in the suburbs Taipei, capital of Taiwan. Its architecture is very similar to the Forbidden City (Forbidden City) in Beijing as both formerly under the auspices of the same institution but later separated as a result of the Chinese civil war.

The building consists of 4 floors has a collection of Chinese artifacts and artworks in the world first class, which is more than 690 thousand pieces; among them are paintings, porcelain, jade, ancient bronze, books, and relics of the imperial family of diverse dynasties are on display in floor 1, 2, and 3. Meanwhile, the 4th floor is used as the visitors dugout. On the left side of the museum lie Chich-shan beautiful park dotted with pavilions, small bridges, footpaths and green trees.

The National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine

This temple was built in the mountain Ching Shan, Zhongshan District, Taipei, in 1969, specifically to hold more than 300,000 ash the fighters who were killed during the Xinhai Revolution, Northern Expedition, Sino-Japan War II, the Chinese Civil War, and the first Taiwan Strait Crisis & II.

Its architecture is very similar to Taihe Dian Imperial Palace is located in the Forbidden City, Beijing, and its position overlooking the Keelung River, making this temple is very interesting to visit. Green grass over an area of more than 33.000m2 around the temple adds to the impression of peace and wisdom. Every March and September along with the president of the PRC national executives pilgrimage to this shrine to pay homage to the spirits of the martyrs.
